Closed Carrels

There are 22 private-closed carrels and six (6) closed-shared carrels for 19 users available for checkout to doctoral students. They’re renewable every semester for up to five (5) years. Click here to apply for a closed carrel.  You may also pick up a form at the main Circulation desk. Carrels are assigned to doctoral students after a consultation with the PhD Offices for each College according to program seniority.
Students are expected to vacate the carrels, notify the library staff in charge, and return the key when their term is due, latest last day of the semester. The carrels are located in the lower, main, and upper levels of the library building.
